Chandrababu Heads to Vizag for National Seafood Workshop

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit Visakhapatnam tomorrow to participate in National workshop on Seafood Exports.
As per schedule the Chief Minister will depart from the Camp Office in Amaravati at 9:00 AM and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 10:35 AM. As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, the Chief Minister will plant a sapling at the Andhra University Engineering grounds. Later he will participate in a bicycle ride and reach Novotel Hotel on Beach road to attend the National Seafood Exports Workshop.
The Chief Minister will address the workshop at 1.50 p.m. Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Chirag Paswan, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, George Kurian, S.P. Singh Baghel, K Rammohan Naidu along with representatives from aquaculture and fisheries startups, seafood export associations, marine aquaculture organizations, food processing industries and other stakeholders, will participate in the workshop.The workshop will deliberate on key issues including the current status of seafood exports, emerging and alternative export markets, opportunities in marine fisheries and strategies for the development of the fisheries sector. Benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PMKSSY) and Kisan Credit Card (KCC) schemes will also be extended to beneficiaries during the event.
Following the workshop, the Chief Minister will conduct a review meeting with officials on the Visakhapatnam Economic Region. After the review, he will return to Amaravati.
