Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited a natural farming field in Palnadu district, praised farmer Gudipalli Nagabhushanam for his sustainable agricultural practices, and purchased a litre of cold-pressed groundnut oil produced at the farm.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited the natural farming fields of farmer Gudipalli Nagabhushanam in Linganguntla village of Palnadu district on Saturday, highlighting the state's commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture and healthier food systems.
The visit took place during the Chief Minister's tour of Palnadu district for the Annadata Sukhibhava programme. Walking through the fields, Chandrababu Naidu interacted with Nagabhushanam, who explained how he has been practicing natural farming for the past four years.
The farmer shared that adopting natural farming methods had significantly reduced cultivation costs while improving soil health, crop productivity, and long-term sustainability. Appreciating his efforts, the Chief Minister described Nagabhushanam as a role model for farmers seeking profitable and environmentally responsible agriculture.
A memorable moment unfolded when Chandrababu Naidu visited the farmer's traditional oil extraction unit, where groundnut, sesame, and coconut oils are produced using cold-press methods. Nagabhushanam explained that the value-added enterprise had become an important source of additional income and offered the Chief Minister an opportunity to sample the products.
With a touch of humor, Chandrababu Naidu remarked that purchases at home require approval from his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari. He then called her from the farm and, after a brief conversation, purchased a litre of cold-pressed groundnut oil, drawing smiles from those present.
The Chief Minister later visited a cow-based natural farming resource centre on the farm and reviewed the preparation of natural inputs such as Jeevamrutham, Ghana Jeevamrutham, and Neemastram. He also toured a papaya orchard, tasted freshly harvested fruit, and learned about the benefits of multi-crop cultivation in improving biodiversity and soil fertility.
The visit underscored the government's focus on expanding natural farming practices and encouraging rural enterprises that generate additional income while protecting public health and the environment.
