Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of combining technology with spirituality and yoga for a balanced, stress-free life during a Yogandhra event at Undavalli Caves.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday underscored the importance of spirituality and yoga in achieving a balanced and stress-free life, stating that India’s rich cultural heritage has made the country a global spiritual leader.
Participating in a special Yogandhra programme led by yoga guru Baba Ramdev at the historic Undavalli Caves, the Chief Minister said every citizen has a responsibility to preserve India's cultural values and pass them on to future generations.
Addressing a large gathering, Chandrababu Naidu said technology and spirituality must go hand in hand. While technology has transformed lives, yoga and spirituality provide the balance needed to avoid stress and addiction to digital devices. He praised Baba Ramdev for taking yoga to the masses and inspiring millions to adopt healthy lifestyles.
The Chief Minister thanked Baba Ramdev for conducting yoga sessions in Amaravati and Vijayawada and invited him to support efforts to transform Andhra Pradesh into a national spiritual hub. He noted that Yogandhra programmes are being organized at prominent spiritual and tourist destinations across the state to encourage people to embrace yoga as a way of life.
Highlighting the significance of the venue, Chandrababu Naidu said the Undavalli Caves, dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries, hold immense historical and spiritual importance. He also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for elevating yoga to global prominence, with nearly 190 countries now observing International Yoga Day.
The Chief Minister further announced that yoga and pranayama would be integrated into the government's Sanjeevani public health programme, with a focus on disease prevention and holistic wellness. He also reiterated the government's vision of developing Amaravati as a pollution-free, net-zero and highly liveable future city.
Speaking on the occasion, Baba Ramdev described Chandrababu Naidu as a visionary leader and "Karma Yogi," praising his commitment to yoga, natural farming, environmental protection and cultural preservation. He said Amaravati is emerging as a yoga capital and expressed confidence that leaders following Chandrababu's development model could help India achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat well before 2047.
Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and senior officials were also present at the event.
