TDP MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu alleged that the YSRCP was supporting controversial individuals and using social media campaigns to spread misinformation against the coalition government.

Mangalagiri: Vizianagaram MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu on Friday alleged that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) was extending support to controversial individuals for political gains and demanded that the party clarify its stand on those accused of disturbing social harmony.
Addressing a press conference at the TDP Central Office in Mangalagiri, the MP alleged that YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was pursuing divisive politics instead of constructive opposition. He claimed that the people of Andhra Pradesh were closely watching what he described as the party's attempts to defend individuals accused of making provocative statements against the law, the Constitution and social values.
Appala Naidu questioned the legal support allegedly being extended by YSRCP leaders and party-affiliated advocates to controversial individuals. He said the party should explain why it was backing people who, according to him, were creating unrest and undermining constitutional institutions.
The MP further alleged that encouraging divisive narratives had become a pattern within the YSRCP and accused its social media network of targeting women, police personnel and public representatives through objectionable online campaigns. Instead of promoting unity, he claimed, the opposition party was attempting to spread misinformation against the coalition government.
Highlighting the NDA government's governance agenda, Appala Naidu said the coalition remained committed to protecting the Constitution framed by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and ensuring welfare and development for all sections of society. He alleged that the opposition had failed to counter the government's development initiatives and was therefore relying on misleading propaganda.
The MP also accused YSRCP of attempting to remain politically relevant through coordinated social media campaigns while alleging that its leaders were trying to intimidate police officials despite no longer being in power. He maintained that the coalition government had strengthened law and order and created a stable environment for development in Andhra Pradesh.
Appala Naidu said political differences were a part of democracy but warned that attempts to disturb social harmony through misinformation or provocative campaigns would invite action under the law. He expressed confidence that the NDA government would continue to provide stable governance and work for the development of Andhra Pradesh.
