YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at Idupulapaya, marking his 77th birth anniversary.

Idupulapaya: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday paid rich floral tributes to former Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on the occasion of his 77th birth anniversary at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya.
Accompanied by members of the YSR family, Jagan offered floral wreaths at the memorial and participated in special prayers conducted by religious leaders as part of the commemorative programme.
Remembering Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy as a visionary leader, Jagan and senior YSRCP leaders recalled his contributions to welfare, agriculture, healthcare, education and irrigation. They described him as a leader who dedicated his life to public service and earned a permanent place in the hearts of the people through his people-centric governance and welfare initiatives.
The leaders said Dr. YSR's legacy continues to inspire millions and remains a guiding force for those committed to social justice, inclusive development and the welfare of the underprivileged.
Dr. YSR's wife Y.S. Vijayamma, daughter-in-law Y.S. Bharathi and other members of the family also paid floral tributes at the memorial. Several senior YSRCP leaders, present and former public representatives, party workers and supporters participated in the programme.
Large numbers of admirers gathered at the YSR Ghat to pay homage to the late leader and participate in the commemorative prayers. Party leaders said the occasion reflected the enduring public affection for Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy and reaffirmed their commitment to carrying forward his ideals.
