YSRCP DSC Action Committee to approach Governor, seeks CBI probe into DSC-2025 irregularities

The YSRCP DSC Committee has decided to approach the Governor seeking a comprehensive CBI inquiry into the irregularities in the DSC-2025 recruitment process. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy at the YSRCP Central Office, attended by MLCs Lella Appi Reddy, Parvatha Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, MLC Kalpalatha, Pudi Srihari, General Secretary (Media), Student Wing State President Panuganti Chaitanya, Zonal Working President A. Ravichandra and other leaders.
The committee reviewed complaints relating to the conduct of the examination, declaration of results and disposal of grievances, and resolved to continue its legal battle on behalf of affected candidates while taking the issue to the national level. It also decided to convene another meeting with DSC victims shortly.
Questioning the silence of Education Minister Nara Lokesh, the committee said the irregularities in DSC-2025 have raised concerns that warrant an independent investigation. It sought clarification on the case of Naveen, an SCERT contract computer operator who reportedly emerged as the Krishna district topper but did not receive an appointment despite securing the first rank.
The committee noted that more than 30,000 grievances were filed by candidates, but the government failed to provide satisfactory explanations, creating serious doubts over the transparency of the recruitment process. It also expressed concern over the alleged intimidation and targeting of candidates raising objections, while pointing out that several writ petitions on the issue are already pending before the courts.
Demanding a fair and impartial investigation into every aspect of DSC-2025, the committee urged the government to order a CBI probe and ensure accountability for all irregularities in the recruitment process.
