Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has pitched Andhra Pradesh as one of the most attractive destinations for semiconductor manufacturing, inviting global industry leaders to explore investment opportunities as the state prepares to host a major semiconductor facility in Rayalaseema.

Andhra Pradesh is rapidly emerging as one of the most attractive destinations for semiconductor manufacturing and advanced technology investments, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said while addressing the Semicon Ecosystem Roundtable Conference in Singapore.
Inviting global semiconductor industry leaders to visit Andhra Pradesh within the next 30 days, the Chief Minister urged companies to explore the state's investor-friendly policies, industrial infrastructure and growing opportunities in high-technology manufacturing sectors.
Speaking at the conference, Naidu highlighted the state's commitment to a "Speed of Doing Business" model aimed at ensuring faster approvals, transparent governance and seamless industrial growth. He noted that India has become one of the world's most promising destinations for investment and that Andhra Pradesh stands out as a preferred location for global investors due to its proactive policies and strong infrastructure ecosystem.
The Chief Minister stated that the timing is ideal for investments in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in the semiconductor sector, where the state is positioning itself as a key player in India's electronics and chip manufacturing ambitions.
Naidu revealed that a semiconductor manufacturing facility is expected to be established soon in the Rayalaseema region, a development that is anticipated to strengthen Andhra Pradesh's position in the country's emerging semiconductor landscape.
Highlighting the region's industrial potential, he said Rayalaseema is well-suited for advanced manufacturing industries, including defence production, aerospace, electronics, fighter aircraft component manufacturing and automobile production.
The Semicon Ecosystem Roundtable brought together representatives from leading global semiconductor and technology firms, including GlobalFoundries, NXP Semiconductors, ASMPT, One System Technologies, Techsend Photomask, Aquatech and other industry stakeholders.
The Chief Minister reiterated that Andhra Pradesh is committed to building a robust semiconductor ecosystem and is ready to collaborate with global companies to drive innovation, manufacturing excellence and sustainable industrial growth.
The outreach forms part of the state's broader strategy to attract high-value investments and establish Andhra Pradesh as a major hub for advanced manufacturing and technology-driven industries.
