Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reviewed preparations for the 31st CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam and called for greater regional participation and knowledge-driven discussions.

Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday reviewed preparations for the 31st CII Partnership Summit, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13, and directed officials to make it a platform for meaningful dialogue, innovation and global collaboration.
Reviewing arrangements at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister stressed that the summit should go beyond investment announcements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to become a forum for discussions on emerging global challenges, public policy and future technologies.
The summit will be organised under the theme, "Navigating Change: Leadership, Technology, Trust and Trade in a Transforming World." Naidu directed officials to ensure comprehensive arrangements for the two-day event, including the signing of investment MoUs and participation by leading national and international companies, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and delegates from various countries.
To promote the summit globally, the Chief Minister instructed officials to organise roadshows between July and September in major cities including Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
Naidu also proposed organising regional partnership meetings in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry/Kakinada, Amaravati, Anantapur and Tirupati ahead of the main summit. He said these regional events would encourage greater participation from industry, students, entrepreneurs and the public while generating discussions on development and innovation.
The Chief Minister said the Partnership Summit should host debates on critical issues such as public policy, business challenges, investment opportunities and strategies to address emerging global trends. He suggested including sessions on agriculture, horticulture, natural farming, circular economy, spirituality and stress-free work culture, alongside discussions on advanced technologies.
Highlighting the importance of future-ready leadership, Naidu said the government is also planning to establish a CII Global Leadership Centre in Amaravati. He stressed the need to involve experts from leading universities and emerging technology sectors to ensure the summit contributes to long-term policy and economic development.
He also called for active participation from Generation Z, stating that the summit should provide young innovators and startups with opportunities to showcase their ideas before industry leaders and investors.
Ministers T.G. Bharath, Kondapalli Srinivas, P. Narayana, Kandula Durgesh and Gottipati Ravi Kumar, along with CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee and senior officials, attended the review meeting.
